At Van Drunen Heating and Air Conditioning, our team has been part of our communities in the Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana region for more than 50 years. Our family has been at the helm of our company since its inception and two generations of our family are now part of our leadership. You can still find us at the same location where we have been located since 1969, with our office, shop and warehouse all together. We have our sheet metal shop on-site to help with any customized repair work, and we strive to keep our inventory of products stocked to serve you quickly and efficiently.
Your air conditioner hums along all season long keeping you cool and comfortable – until it doesn’t! If you find that there is warm air blowing out of your AC or it is constantly running all day long, you may need repairs or a whole new AC unit. Our trained specialists can review your current system and evaluate if it can be repaired or if it is a better idea to install a new air conditioner. If you have repaired it a lot recently, then it is time to consider an AC update. If you are noticing an increase in utility bills as well, it may be a reflection of your older and inefficient unit. There are many updates and innovations that have occurred in the industry over the years. An energy-efficient unit can help reduce your utility costs over time.
If you need a new unit, our team can review things to know as you decide on your new AC. We can discuss what is available out there on the market, what the different energy efficiency ratings actually mean, what is your budget and what fits within it, how to have correct dehumidification and installation services that provide maximum energy efficiency and performance of your AC.
If your air is comfortable that is fabulous, but what about the quality of your air? We can assist with indoor air quality by working with you and your family on a humidifier or air cleaner. Those with allergies or asthma can greatly benefit from air that is cycled through a whole home air purification system. This can help reduce the amount of pollen, viruses, dust mites, pet dander and bacteria that is present in your home’s air and are not visible to the naked eye. By keeping up on your air filter changes and having this system in place, you can optimize the quality of your air and comfort of breathing in your space.
